Wedding photography in Netherlands is a special direction of photo art. The most important thing is to find a common language with clients and be on the same wavelength. And I can proudly say that this is not just my job but also my favorite hobby. This summer I was lucky enough to shoot an incredible couple Larissa and Joey. They booked me for the whole day from early morning until late at night. It was a difficult da but very eventful and emotional. And I am absolutely glad that I became a part of their family history.

The wedding took place at the picturesque Landgoed Duin en Kruidberg Estate in Saantpoort. This location is perfect for a beautiful summer wedding. It is very diverse here – the old castle and many shady places in the park. In addition, nature lovers will love National Park Zuid-Kennemerland. To make getting ready photos we have chosen the most beautiful room in the castle – with large windows and an authentic interior. Everything went incredibly easy and without haste. This is another secret to the success of your wedding – plan everything in advance and then just enjoy Your day! Ceremony
There are several options for the ceremony. In the castle room inside – for bad weather. And another one – on the field next to the lake with a gorgeous view of the castle. We were lucky with the weather and managed to do everything outside. The groom excitedly waited for the bride at the reception of the ceremony. Finally she appeared, accompanied by her father. Everything was like in a fairy tale, and of course there were tears of happiness and admiration!
What makes a wedding in Netherlands different is that the host (“ambtenaar” in dutch) prepares an individual speech for the couple. In which there are many touching moments as well as jokes. But this is always certainly sincere and touchable! My bride has mixed origins. Larisa’s mother is Brazilian, and her father is Dutch. And the bride is very proud of her background. Therefore, it played a big role in wedding decoration, music and entertainment.

And of course we couldn’t miss the magnificent sunset. For this, we went to Aalsmeer near Amsterdam. We stopped on the shore of the bay and just caught the last rays of the sun. As a person who does photography in Netherlands for a long time, I can say that the time before sunset is ideal for shooting. The bride’s dad really wanted to have a party in their family estate. So the whole event became more comfortable and no one put them in a rigid framework. But at the same time there were a lot of different entertainments. For example Brazilian fiery dances and drummers. And also one of the best DJs in the country. The event ended very late, but nevertheless our photo plans are not finished yet. We had Amsterdam ahead and a night photo session at Dam Square. After that, the guys stayed overnight in one of the old hotels in the old center. I really hope that my photography in Netherlands brings to my couples and their families sweet memories for a very long time to remember their happy day!
